Lovers and Friends......

How often do we hear men and women say I’m single and happy/ and I’d rather be alone??? I’m tired of having this conversation soooo here’s my opinion and suggestions all wrapped up in one…

If your single and happy we don’t need you to announce it every second. If your in a great relationship no words are needed anyone that is around will just know. People who constantly have to shout out there relationship status are not happy. They either want to put up a facade to impress people just as unhappy as they are. Or they’re secretly really lonely, but pride wont let them show it so they just roll with “single and loving it” lol…

I’m currently in a relationship that is definitely NOT traditional, but guess what Im HAPPY. It works for us. Once I got pass society and what was pounded and programmed into my brain about relationships I was able to have a truly fulfilling companion/friendship with a man who’s in to me just as much as I am him if not more. We started as friends, which allowed me to see him in ALLLL lights. Our friendship made me love him even more without conditions….

I read somewhere that in a successful union you have to master forgiveness. …Already got my Bachelors working on my masters now lol

Today one of my friends asked me “why do we choose to date the same “type” of people and expect different/better results”? I think its because people love a comfort zone. Familiar things are easier to deal with (who doesn’t like easy lol). Instead of dealing with the “same old” I think people should look at themselves to see what they are putting out to attract the “same old”. Identify the problem, brainstorm solutions and make the necessary adjustments. Most people don’t want to work on themselves they just want to point fingers and say that there isn’t any good men or women. Lazy suckas.

Do what works for you ….Every kind of relationship is unique in its own way…Embrace it and step outside the box !!!!!
